Art Teacher and Artist

Veronica Perez, originally from Rincon, Puerto Rico, has been a vibrant part of the Washington DC Metro Area since 1999. As an art teacher and artist, her creative pursuits span photography, sculpture, ceramics, and painting. Veronica's passion for theater and performance arts shines through her contributions to her students' class plays, where she designs backdrops, and costumes.
Nature profoundly inspires Veronica's work, driving her to express her reality in harmony with her surroundings. Her travels allow her to capture diverse cultures and backgrounds through photography, which she later integrates into her artistic creations. Veronica celebrates cultural diversity and explores new meanings in her life through her art and interactions with people from various walks of life.
Believing in the therapeutic power of art, Veronica uses the creative process for personal healing and relaxation, making her work not only a reflection of her experiences but also a journey of self-discovery and wellness.
